At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Jumabek Salymbekov drew attention to the problem of duplicate street names in Bishkek. He noted that with the annexation of new districts to the capital, difficulties arise that hinder the access of ambulances and other emergency services: vehicles cannot quickly reach certain addresses.
Azamat Kadyrov, the deputy mayor responsible for land use, architecture, construction, and digitalization, reported on the current efforts to eliminate these duplicate names. The work is being carried out in cooperation with the Bishkek City Council to improve navigation and make the city safer and more convenient for its residents.
