A deputy proposed using donor funds to purchase German cars
At a meeting of parliamentary groups on March 13, Ismanali Joroev, a member of parliament, expressed concern about the condition of Russian ambulances. According to him, such vehicles break down on the roads of Kyrgyzstan just 2-3 years after being put into service.
In this regard, he appealed to the Deputy Minister of Health to consider the possibility of purchasing 'Mercedes' vehicles.
It should be noted that in 2026, the Ministry of Health plans to acquire about 400 ambulances. Funding for 200 of them has been provided by the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank has allocated an additional 1 million dollars.
