The competition was based on the trilogy of the epic "Manas" ("Manas," "Semetey," "Seitek") in the version of the storyteller Sagymbay Orozbakov — an invaluable spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
Twenty-one teams from the district's schools participated, and 61 students performed in the "Manas" execution contest.
The intellectual competition "Manas Taanuu" started exactly 15 years ago with 40 schoolchildren, and today it involves about 40,000 students. This is one of the main projects aimed at introducing schoolchildren and youth to the "Manas" trilogy — the historical wealth of the Kyrgyz people, its popularization, as well as fostering the younger generation in the spirit of citizenship, friendship, unity, interethnic harmony, and promotion.
