There is also an increase in the deposit allowance for doctors working in the regions.
At a meeting of the Ishenim and Ala-Too deputy groups, Deputy Minister of Health Tilek Mamadaliev announced a significant increase in the salaries of medical workers — starting April 1, their salaries will rise by 100%.
In addition, a deposit allowance will be introduced for doctors working in remote areas.
“Until 2024, it was 33,000 soms per quarter, but from now on it will be increased to 66,000 soms, which means that every three months, medical workers will receive this amount additionally,” explained Mamadaliev.
Additionally, for scarce specialists such as neonatologists, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists-resuscitators in remote areas, a monthly allowance of 20,000 soms is provided.
The Deputy Minister also added that as part of the salary increase, each doctor and nurse will receive 15,000 soms monthly from the presidential fund.
By the end of this year, it is planned to increase the deposit payments to doctors: if they currently amount to 500 soms, there is a proposal to increase them by 2,000 soms.
As Mamadaliev noted, such measures should help attract medical workers to remote regions and partially solve the problem of staff shortages.
