Residents of the Aravan District can undergo free diagnostics

Since March 2026, a mobile multi-diagnostic complex has been operating in the Aravan District of the Osh region, offering local residents free medical examinations and consultations with specialists. Its operation in this area is expected to last about three months, after which the complex will move to the Kochkor District of the Naryn region.

According to the Ministry of Health, this diagnostic complex provides a variety of services, including free medical examinations, consultations, treatment, and a wide range of diagnostic procedures. About 147,000 people live in the Aravan District, and for many of them, this is an opportunity to receive medical assistance without the need to leave their district.

The mobile complex is equipped with modern medical technologies, allowing for the diagnosis and examination of various diseases. It includes doctors' offices, a laboratory for tests, a computed tomography scanner, a mammography machine, an X-ray machine, a gastroscope, and a mobile screening center, as well as a control center. Minibuses are also provided for transporting patients, including emergency medical services.

The project for the mobile multi-diagnostic complex started in Kyrgyzstan in November 2021 and is being implemented under a five-year agreement between the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Islamic Development Bank, and the charitable foundation "Fael Khair." The project is operated by Normeca Health Management, and its goal is to improve the accessibility of medical care and diagnostics for residents, especially in remote and rural areas of the country.

As of the end of 2025, the mobile clinic had conducted examinations for 33,843 people and provided 86,262 consultations with doctors. Both family doctors and specialists, including gynecologists, ophthalmologists, ENT doctors, neurologists, cardiologists, dentists, gastroenterologists, urologists, endocrinologists, and surgeons, were involved in the consultations.

Throughout the year, numerous laboratory and instrumental studies were conducted, including 2,576 mammograms, 1,826 computed tomography scans, and 2,537 X-rays. Ultrasound examinations, gastroscopies, colonoscopies, cystoscopies, laboratory tests, rapid testing, and electrocardiograms were also performed. Specialists from the complex also carried out 280 surgical operations.
