In Bishkek, activists will hold a rally to protect peaceful assemblies

On March 13, from 10:00 to 11:00, a peaceful rally organized by Toletkan Ismailova and Bermet Borubaeva will take place in front of the administration building of the Pervomaisky District in Bishkek. The main goal of the event is to protect the fundamental right of citizens to freedom of peaceful assembly, which is guaranteed by Article 39 of the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan, Article 21 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as the Law on Peaceful Assemblies.

Participants of the rally invite observers from human rights organizations and representatives of the media to join the event.
