This initiative, launched in 2022 at the suggestion of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, aims to support low-income families.

Initially, the amount of social assistance under the contract was 100,000 soms, but starting in 2025, it will be increased to 150,000 soms. Among the first recipients of social contracts, 14 families have already achieved an annual income of over 1 million soms.
Interestingly, 94.2% of program participants are women, mostly from rural areas. Thanks to this initiative, over 57,000 new jobs have been created.
In 2026, 13,333 low-income families across the country will be able to receive 150,000 soms under the "Social Contract" program.
