The new bill will help increase budget revenues by 700 million soms annually
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has initiated changes to the licensing of several professional activities. The corresponding draft resolution has been submitted for public discussion.
Amendments are proposed to the government resolution "On the Licensing of Certain Types of Activities," adopted on December 14, 2023, under number 678. The main goal of the changes is to simplify the process of obtaining licenses for architects and builders, as well as further digitalization of this sector.
One of the key proposals is the requirement for specialists holding state qualification certificates to work on a permanent basis only for one company. Additionally, the procedure for document verification during licensing will be changed, which will allow for the automation of the tax payment verification process through the state information system.
Thus, the authorities expect that the new measures will reduce the processing time for documents, increase transparency in employment in the industry, and ensure the receipt of about 700 million soms into the budget each year.
