In Uzbekistan, starting from March 4, a "blacklist" mechanism has been implemented for individuals found guilty of violence, as well as for those exerting pressure on women and children. This step aims to ensure the safety of vulnerable groups, as reported by Podrobno.uz.
According to the new decree, a centralized database will be created, which will include individuals noted for threats, as well as psychological or physical violence. The police and prosecutor's office are required to monitor these individuals and take necessary measures to prevent repeat offenses.
Additionally, expanded social protection measures are provided for women and children who have become victims of violence. They will be able to receive medical care, psychological assistance, and legal support. Agencies will now work in a more coordinated manner to promptly respond to cases of violence.
Thus, the introduction of the "blacklist" is aimed at combating domestic violence and protecting women and children from potential threats. Authorities emphasize that the main goal of this initiative is to enhance safety and reduce the likelihood of new incidents of violence.
