Due to the circumstances that arose in the Middle East, about three thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan have returned to their homeland. This was reported at a press conference by Seytek Jumakadyrov, the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He also noted that the ministry continues its active efforts to organize the return of remaining citizens. It is expected that the other Kyrgyz citizens will also return home in the near future.
According to his statements, of those who have already returned, 426 people used free flights organized by the state, while the others arrived independently.
It is worth adding that it was previously reported that approximately 22 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan were in the Middle East.
