During the session of the Jogorku Kenesh on March 11, Deputy Tabyldy Muratbekov expressed concern about the promised salary increase for teachers.

According to him, teachers, including those in biology, geography, and history, are reporting their problems to him. "At the kurultai, the president reassured everyone, saying that starting in April, teachers' salaries would increase by 100%. The teachers were happy about this and expressed their gratitude. However, as you remember, former Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov also promised an increase, but it turned out to be insignificant. Now, the Ministry of Education is reducing teachers' working hours, which will lead to a decrease in their salaries. This is no joke!" he exclaimed.

The deputy demanded clarification from the Ministry regarding this situation.
