During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Gulya Kozhokulova raised the issue of the influence of GKNB employees on judges' decisions, calling for the eradication of such practices.
The president, commenting on the situation, acknowledged that such cases had occurred in the past; however, according to him, the situation has fundamentally changed now.
“Currently, this is not happening. The GKNB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor's Office are operating within their own frameworks. Previously, when the same person held the positions of prosecutor and judge, we all witnessed this. Now that is not the case. I have issued a stern warning: if anyone repeats the mistakes of the past, they will end up behind bars,” the president stated.
According to Sadyr Japarov, calls to the courts concern only state matters, and there is no interference in civil and other cases.
He also noted that he maintains constant contact with many judicial workers, and if there is any pressure, judges immediately inform him about it.
