In his speech on March 11 at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the president noted that during the Soviet era, benefits were provided to all children under the age of 16, regardless of their families' financial status.

Japarov pointed out that since gaining independence, benefits have only been available to low-income citizens. Currently, a decree has been signed to provide assistance for children up to three years old. "We aim to expand the program to include benefits for children up to 16 years old, but at the moment, the budget does not allow us to implement this. With an increase in the budget, we will be able to realize this idea in the future," he added.
