Next week, residents of Kyrgyzstan will be able to enjoy a three-day holiday. As reported by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the country, the sacred holiday of Orozo Ait will be celebrated on Friday, March 20.
Following this, the celebration of Nooruz will take place on Saturday, providing citizens with the opportunity to rest for three consecutive days:
March 20 (Friday) — Orozo Ait;
March 21 (Saturday) — Nooruz;
March 22 (Sunday) — day off.
It is worth noting that in accordance with the new Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the practice of transferring days off that fall on Saturday and Sunday has been abolished. Thus, the holidays will be celebrated on the specified dates, without an additional day off on Monday.
