Trains will run from Beijing four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Information about the schedule for return trains has not yet been published.

To purchase tickets, passengers will need to present a valid North Korean visa and a copy of their passport, as reported by a representative of China International Travel Services.

Before the pandemic, the largest number of foreign tourists in North Korea were indeed citizens of China. Therefore, many experts believe that the resumption of rail services could help restore economic ties between the countries.

It is worth noting that the route between Russia and North Korea was previously restored, resuming in June of last year after a five-year break.
