According to information from the press service of the Bishkek City Hall, the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" is actively engaged in snow removal and the application of technical salt on the roads. The work began on the night of March 10, 2026.
To ensure safe movement on the city's streets, modern specialized vehicles are being used. These include 32 MAZ sand spreaders, 10 Shacman sand spreaders, an excavator, a front loader, and 32 Belarus tractors, as well as 5 universal communal machines (UCM).
In the cleaning process, 20 road workers and more than 1,000 employees responsible for sanitary cleaning are involved.
Since the start of the work, 581 tons of technical salt have been used to prevent the formation of ice.
The local authorities emphasized that the work on clearing the streets of snow and treating the roads with anti-icing materials continues.
