Deputy Bekeshev proposes to develop esports in Kyrgyzstan

Dastan Bekeshev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, voiced his initiative aimed at developing esports in the country through his Telegram channel.

In his opinion, Kyrgyzstan needs to create a support system for computer sports, as well as to establish legislative foundations for its development. In this regard, Bekeshev initiated a draft law concerning amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Physical Culture and Sports".

An important part of the proposed document is the regulation of the participation of minors in esports events, which should help combat the potential negative consequences of excessive gaming.

It has previously been noted that esports is becoming increasingly popular among the youth of Kyrgyzstan. In the future, the establishment of a regional center for players is planned, which could make the country one of the leading esports hubs in Central Asia.
