An iftar was held in Bishkek for people with disabilities


In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a significant iftar was held aimed at supporting people with disabilities. This information was announced by the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
The event, dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan, took place in the Pervomaisky district in collaboration with the "Yyman" mosque.
According to the data from the muftiate, the main goal of this event is to provide moral and spiritual support to people with disabilities, strengthen community unity during the fasting period, as well as to bring joy to those in need and activate charitable initiatives.

The organizers noted: "Ramadan is a time of mercy and caring for one another. We are holding today's iftar to show our brothers and sisters that they are not alone and that they are an important part of our society."
It should be noted that for participants from the Sokuluk district who use wheelchairs, the organizers fully covered transportation costs in both directions.

“This charitable event has been held annually for the past three years,” the press service added.
