The iftar gathered thousands of participants on the university campus

The traditional outdoor iftar program took place at the Kyrgyz-Turkish University 'Manas'. This year, the event gathered about 8,000 people, making it one of the largest in the last five years. This was reported by university representatives.

Among the participants were ministers, ambassadors, high-ranking officials, teachers, students, and local residents.

The campus named after Chyngyz Aitmatov was decorated with festive lights and garlands that adorned the trees and the area in front of the rectorate.

Before the iftar began, Rector Alpaslan Jeylan and First Vice-Rector Almaz Ibraev welcomed the guests. Later, they joined the Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations Gulzat Ismatova and the Turkish Ambassador in Bishkek, Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem, to distribute treats to the participants.

The event also featured cultural programs, where a variety of treats were offered.

At 12 distribution points organized on the campus, about 8,000 iftar dinners were prepared and distributed.

Thousands of people simultaneously broke their fast after the adhan was recited by Shakir Bayir, an employee of the Religious Affairs Council at the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek.

Students and guests could enjoy special photo zones and traditional gifts called "tishaky," which reflect the customs of Ramadan. One of the dishes offered was the famous Turkish delight "Osmanlı macunu."

Since the beginning of Ramadan, various cultural and spiritual events have been held at the university.

Every day, the university administration organizes free iftars for students and implements cultural programs and social initiatives aimed at creating an atmosphere of unity and mutual assistance on campus.
