On March 10 of this year, in Bishkek, in the residential area of "Ak-Bata," Nurdin Oruntaev, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, laid a time capsule to mark the beginning of the construction of a new school for 650 students.

Attendees at the event included the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, local government officials, and residents of the area.

During his speech, the minister emphasized that the development of educational infrastructure is a key direction of state policy. He noted that the new school will create comfortable and quality conditions for the education of children from the "Ak-Bata" residential area. Oruntaev also assured that efforts to address the shortage of educational institutions and to provide modern educational facilities for students will continue.

The project provides for a total area of the new educational institution to be 5,300 square meters, with the land plot occupying 1.08 hectares. The school will accommodate 650 students, with the possibility of expansion to 1,300 students, and will consist of three blocks. The building will be two stories high and equipped with modern educational facilities.

Considering the seismic characteristics of the region, the building will be designed to withstand loads of up to 9 points. Additionally, due to the specific nature of the soil, the pit will be excavated to a depth of up to 8.8 meters, and the foundation will be reinforced using special technologies.

The construction work is being carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Construction, with the contractor being the company OsOO "GradStroyResurs."
