According to information received from the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek, a man suspected of committing a series of fraudulent actions related to promises of assistance in obtaining driver's licenses has been detained in the city.
On December 25, 2025, a citizen named O.U. reported to law enforcement. He stated that on December 11, 2025, in the Kök-Jar area, a slightly familiar person approached him, introducing himself as A.K. The man, taking advantage of the trust, promised to help obtain the license and ultimately took 120,000 soms.
As of today, the promises have not been fulfilled, and the money has not been returned.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, law enforcement detained 25-year-old B.M., who was taken to the investigative authorities and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Verification showed that B.M. may be linked to at least six cases of fraud.
