
In Novosibirsk, there are 17,791 Kyrgyz citizens, among whom 4,624 are registered in the list of controlled foreign nationals.
According to the General Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk, Aibek Aydarbekov, 268,460 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are registered for migration in Russia. This information was presented at a meeting of the committee on international affairs, defense, security, and migration of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Aydarbekov also noted that 17,791 Kyrgyz citizens live in Novosibirsk, of which 4,624 are included in the registry of controlled foreign nationals.
Additionally, the General Consul spoke about the activities related to providing consular-legal services, interacting with the Kyrgyz diaspora, and measures to strengthen bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
Deputy Cholpon Esenamanova raised questions about the possibilities for exporting Kyrgyz products and their representation in the agro-complex "Asia-Siberia," as well as the reasons for the decrease in the number of students studying on a budget basis in Russian universities.
At the meeting, Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva highlighted the issue of medical services for the families of labor migrants, noting that within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, they should receive the necessary guarantees, although this is not always realized.
Deputy Burul Amanova suggested intensifying efforts to promote Kyrgyz entrepreneurs' goods in the Russian markets.
Another deputy, Shairbek Tashiev, pointed out the need to provide legal assistance to citizens and proposed creating a 24-hour hotline for this purpose.
