The fire alarm system will be updated in schools and kindergartens in Bishkek.

The Bishkek City Hall, through the Education Department of the October District, has announced a tender for the upgrade of fire alarm systems in educational institutions.

According to information posted on the state procurement portal, approximately 3.5 million soms will be allocated for this work. Of this amount, 1.5 million is designated for secondary schools, while nearly 1.7 million is for kindergartens.

In particular, it is planned to repair the alarm systems at the Youth Labor School No. 7, the Specialized Boarding School No. 71, and the Auxiliary School No. 34.

Earlier, the issue of ensuring fire safety in the capital's educational institutions was discussed in the city kenesh. According to representatives of the authorities, 116 schools and 118 kindergartens already have fire alarm systems, while the installation of these systems is currently underway in several educational institutions in the Lenin District and three preschool organizations.
