In the Aravan district, potato planting has begun at the agricultural enterprise "Birlik" using the latest technologies, according to information from the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the agency, the new equipment is capable of performing five operations simultaneously, which significantly simplifies the work of farmers and contributes to more efficient field operations.
Key features of the latest machines:
- spraying herbicides to combat weeds, which improves the quality of the harvested crop;
- planting potatoes at a distance of 90 cm in several rows simultaneously, which increases productivity;
- installation of a drip irrigation hose, which helps save water;
- distribution of fertilizers through a special basket, which promotes soil fertility;
- covering with polyethylene film to protect the soil and retain moisture.
If the new equipment works successfully, its use will be recommended to other farmers next year.
The agricultural enterprise "Birlik" aims to develop the agricultural sector and implement modern technologies to ease the labor of local farmers and increase the efficiency of agriculture in the country.
