According to their information, the target of the strike was a desalination plant located in Iran. The Ynet publication emphasizes that the attack can be viewed as a warning to Tehran amid its aggressive actions against the countries of the Persian Gulf.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported that in the last 24 hours, Iran launched 17 ballistic missiles and 117 drones towards the Emirates. According to the agency, the total number of missiles and drones fired by Iran during the escalation of the conflict reached 238 and 1422, respectively.
Additionally, an Iranian drone also attacked a desalination facility in Bahrain, which is responsible for over 60% of the country's drinking water supply, according to local authorities.
Ynet also notes that the UAE's involvement in military actions may currently be limited. However, in the event of further escalation of the conflict and an increase in attacks from Iran, the Emirates may expand their participation in the confrontation.
