The celebration was attended by Mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev, heads of local institutions and enterprises, as well as women who have achieved significant success in various fields and made a substantial contribution to the life of the city, including heroic mothers.
In his address, the mayor emphasized the importance of the role of women in the modern world, noting that their work both at home and in public life is invaluable. In honor of their achievements, some women were awarded.
The concert program prepared by the team of the Energetik House of Culture concluded the festive part of the event.
The authorities also paid attention to veterans and centenarians. Deputy Mayor Manas Abdykalykov, along with representatives of the labor, social security, and migration department, visited mothers who have reached the ages of 90 and 100.
For the holiday, 260,000 soms were allocated from the city budget, which were distributed among 260 women. The list of recipients includes:
- Heroic mothers;
- Widows of participants of the Great Patriotic War;
- Women over 90 years old;
- Successful employees of city institutions.
