In the village of Belovodskoye, located in the Moscow district of the Chui region, the sale of decorative artificial cherry blossoms, 1.5 and 2 meters tall, has begun.

In this administrative center of the district, where there are large markets and numerous cafes, pre-holiday trading is in full swing.

On the shelves, you can find artificial cherry blossoms: a 1.5-meter tree costs 1500 soms, while a two-meter tree with lush foliage and many branches is priced at 4000 soms.

The cherry blossom, also known as Japanese cherry, belongs to the subfamily Plum. Due to the similarity of its flowers to those of cherry and apricot trees, as well as its bright blooming in spring, it is often referred to as "cherry blossom."

In anticipation of International Women's Day, live flowers are also being sold at the markets:

- tulips — 130 soms each;

- alstroemerias — starting from 1200 soms per bouquet.

Despite the changeable weather, trading continues. One of the sellers noted: "We sell flowers outside, even when it rains. If we wait for good weather, we won't be able to sell the flowers prepared for March 8."
