Karakoil City Council Holds XVIII Session: Deputies Review the Budget, Mayor Reports on the Year

- presentation of the mayor's report on the socio-economic development of Karakol for the year 2025.
- report on the execution of the budget for the year 2025 and clarification of the plan.
- approval of the budget for the year 2026 with forecasts for the years 2027 and 2028.
- distribution of the remaining funds based on the execution of the budget for the year 2025 at the beginning of the year 2026.
- adoption of a new regulation for the Karakol city council.
- allocation of a land plot for the construction of service housing for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Issyk-Kul region.
The first to speak was the mayor of Karakol, Kanibek Adiev, who presented information on the socio-economic achievements of the city for the year 2025.
According to him, the volume of industrial production for the year reached 4 billion 783.2 million soms, which is 667.9 million soms more than in 2024.
In addition, during the year, 4 new businesses were created, which allowed 27 local residents to find jobs.
According to the information from the mayor's office, the execution of tax revenues for the year 2025 amounted to 101.9%. With a planned 1 billion 541.7 million soms, the actual revenue was 1 billion 571.1 million soms, which exceeds the plan by 29.4 million soms.
It is also reported that thanks to attracted investments, works worth 4 billion 119.9 million soms were completed in Karakol over 12 months.
