The Travelife Certified certification indicates that the organization's activities meet strict international standards for sustainable and responsible tourism. To obtain this status, it is necessary to fulfill over 200 criteria, including environmental responsibility, support for local communities, preservation of cultural heritage, respect for human rights, and the implementation of sustainable practices in managing tourism services.
Receiving this international certification has become an important step for the development of sustainable tourism in Karakol and the Issyk-Kul region, as well as a confirmation of the recognition of local organizations' efforts on the international stage.
The implementation of this initiative was actively supported by the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy and the City Hall of Karakol, which promote the development of sustainable tourism at both national and local levels.
