The Bishkek City Hall responded to complaints about the operation of bus route No. 64
Citizens noted that the waiting time for buses sometimes reaches 30-40 minutes, and in some cases, buses do not arrive according to the schedule at all.
In response, the city hall, citing data from the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport," reported that 12 buses are operating on the route and are functioning normally.
According to the enterprise, the established interval between trips should be 8-10 minutes; however, delays may occur during morning hours due to traffic jams.
Additionally, the city hall pointed out that they are currently recruiting drivers, and additional buses are planned to be allocated for routes with high passenger traffic.
Drivers of route No. 64 have also been instructed to ensure timely departures and adherence to the schedule.
Nevertheless, journalist 24.kg himself waited for the bus for over half an hour, which confirms the existing problems with the intervals of service.
