. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKFR) allocated $1.8 million for the implementation of the second phase of construction of a new four-story building for the 'Svetoch' school. This new building will provide 450 additional places for students and create 60 job positions for teachers, meeting modern international standards, as reported by Artyom Novikov, Chairman of the RKFR Board.
He added that this initiative supports the directive of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, to eliminate the shortage of student places and to abandon the three-shift schooling system.
As part of the project, STEM laboratories and robotics classes will be created, and inclusive conditions will be provided for all children. Additionally, the school implements the "Russian Teacher Abroad" program, which allows graduates to have the opportunity to enroll in leading universities abroad through cooperation with international organizations.
Since its inception, the RKFR has financed 45 educational projects totaling $17 million, actively investing in the future of Kyrgyzstan.
