In honor of March 8, a Mayor's Volleyball Cup was organized in the city of Gülchö.

In honor of International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8, a sports event took place in the city of Gülçə — the Mayor's Cup, as reported by the local administration.

Nursultan Tajibaev, the mayor of the city, congratulated the fairer sex on this important day and officially opened the tournament.

Twelve women's teams representing Gülçə are participating in the competition. The teams that take prize-winning places will receive cash awards, trophies, diplomas, and commemorative gifts.

At the end of the tournament, all participants will also be awarded gifts.
