A specialist from the Social Benefits Department of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, Nurgul Usenova, shared details of the proposed changes with 24.kg.
The new project proposes to eliminate the average monthly salary for 2012, which was used as the calculation base. Instead, fixed benefit amounts will be established based on a calculation indicator, which is currently set at 100 soms, noted Usenova.

It is important to note that this resolution does not affect the funeral benefits paid by the Social Fund. The amounts paid in the event of the death of pensioners will remain unchanged.
Nurgul Usenova added that if the Cabinet of Ministers approves the project, the new rules will come into effect on January 1, 2028.
