"Twins": Aydai, who gave birth to twins twice, was forced to terminate her third pregnancy with twins.
Aydai Majieva, their mother, was born on December 9, 1994, in the village of Jeerenchi, located in the Uzgen district of the Osh region. Currently, her family resides in the village of Kelte in the Tört-Kol ayil district of Uzgen.
“I work as an informatics teacher and help my mother-in-law in our home kindergarten,” she shares.
On May 19, 2022, Aydai became a mother for the first time to twins named Jasmurok and Jaschurok. “My mother-in-law chose these names because they were born in spring, and we wanted their hearts to be as pure and kind as spring,” she recounts.
On August 1, 2024, she gave birth to her second set of twins — Ertöshtük and Erkesulu. These names were also suggested by her mother-in-law, who, passionate about epics, chose them with the hope that the son would become a hero and the sister would be beloved and caring.
“In our family and on my husband's side, there are twins, so perhaps that’s why we also had twins,” Aydai adds.
Aydai gave birth to the first twins naturally, weighing 3 kg 130 g and 2 kg 750 g. They were born 15 minutes apart. The second twins were delivered by cesarean section and weighed 3 kg 400 g and 3 kg 100 g.
“When we first learned about the twins during the ultrasound, our joy knew no bounds. We didn’t hide this news from anyone, as every child is a gift from God. For the first twins, we organized a gender party, where my mother-in-law prepared gifts and held a contest for relatives. For the second twins, a similar event was organized by my sister-in-law,” she recalls.
In 2025, Aydai became pregnant with twins again, but unfortunately, due to the fact that the second twins were only 7 months old and her health had not yet recovered, the pregnancy had to be terminated. This moment was extremely difficult and memorable for her.
Now their family has five children: two sons and three daughters (there is an older son). The twins do not resemble each other, which makes it easier to tell them apart.
“With taking care of the children and household chores, time flies by unnoticed. Raising twins is challenging, but their laughter helps to forget about fatigue,” Aydai shares.
She and her husband dream of raising their children well, traveling, and exploring new places.
