In recent years, the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic has shown positive changes. From 2021 to 2025, constitutional and institutional reforms aimed at strengthening the independence of the judiciary and increasing the efficiency of justice have been implemented. The renewal of the regulatory framework, the introduction of objective assessment procedures, and competitive selection have contributed to strengthening human resources and increasing the transparency of the judicial career.
Despite the increased workload, the judicial system maintains stability in law enforcement practices and adheres to reasonable timeframes for case consideration. With the support of President Sadyr Japarov, the modernization of infrastructure is underway: new court buildings are being constructed, socio-economic conditions for judges are improving, and comfortable conditions for independent justice are being created.
One of the strategic directions is the digital transformation of the judicial system. The development of automated information systems, electronic document management, and the "Digital Justice" portal is forming a modern and accessible model of judicial proceedings.
We will continue to work to ensure that the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic remains a reliable guarantor of justice and an important institution for strengthening the legal and democratic development of the country.
