“On Fuchik Street towards Chuy Avenue, a deep pothole has formed. Cars are forced to move on one half of the roadway, and if another car is coming from the opposite direction, they have to enter the oncoming lane. This is extremely dangerous. I would like a warning sign to be installed here,” shares the dissatisfaction of the video author on the Threads platform.
In response to this appeal, the press service of the Bishkek mayor's office reported that on January 16, MTU employees noticed “separate sections of the road surface that had subsided” on Fuchik Street during a territory inspection.
“In this regard, specialists from the Lenin District Administration and representatives of the contracting organization that was engaged in road works were invited to the municipal territorial administration. Relevant reports were drawn up on-site. The contractor was instructed to restore the specified sections,” the mayor's office stated in their response.
“Restoration work will be carried out under favorable weather conditions,” the mayor's office added.Additional complaints from citizens can be found in the Call center Kaktus.media via the link.
