In his opinion, the video about the traffic violation portrayed him as a person who does not follow the law.
Deputy Erulan Kokulov decided to comment on his social media page regarding the recent events related to his personal situation.
He noted that despite the scandal that arose, he preferred to wait for the developments before making a denial.
“Everywhere I go, I hear mockery and jokes. You saw that video. It creates the impression that I caused a scandal over the protocol. In reality, this is not the case. I will confirm the authenticity of the recording,” he stated.
Kokulov expressed regret that no one bothered to find out his version of the events.
“Not even the media representatives. The law requires journalists to present the opinions of both sides. You did not do that,” he added.
According to him, by the morning after the incident, his car was buried in trash.
“This is how far it has come. Yes, I violated traffic rules. I admit it. Unfortunately, circumstances turned out this way. The video shows that the violation occurred around 19:00, and the inspectors came to me at 23:00. That is already my personal time,” the deputy emphasized.
He also addressed Nadir Jusupbekov, the inspector from the Bishkek Traffic Police, who drew up the protocol.
“I asked for just one thing. Nadir, I did not expect you to post this video online. I sincerely trusted you and considered you a conscientious inspector who follows the law. I have never been against your work. But then I politely asked: let’s do everything within the law and during working hours. Why did you come to me at 23:00 and make me a laughingstock in front of my neighbors?”
In his opinion, the inspectors edited the video and presented it in a negative light, portraying him as a person who does not comply with the law.
