Deputy: Residents of Batken villages face interruptions in drinking water supply

At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Bakhtiyar Kalpaev raised an urgent issue regarding the provision of drinking water to the residents of the country's villages.
He reported that currently, the water supply level is only 42%, despite ongoing efforts.

“In some settlements, water is supplied for only one to two hours a day, and local residents are forced to take it from the river. In the villages of Tort-Kul, Karabak, Ak-Turpak, and Mold-Niyaz in Batken, it is necessary to closely monitor the design of water supply systems,” he added.
