At the meeting held on March 4, Bolot Sagynaev voiced the need to strengthen measures for the extradition of Kyrgyz citizens who have been convicted outside the country. He emphasized that ignoring one's citizens by the state, even in cases where they have committed crimes, is an incorrect approach.

The deputy noted that in 2023, 84 citizens were extradited, in 2025 - 234, and since the beginning of 2026 - 81. According to him, those convicted sometimes receive offers to participate in the Special Military Operation (SMO) with promises of compensation, including monetary payments. "We cannot rule out that under the pressure of conditions in prisons, some of them may agree to such participation," he added.

To enhance the effectiveness of extradition, Sagynaev proposed to establish a representation of the General Prosecutor's Office at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia.
