In Osh, on March 3, ceremonial events were held in the central square dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to information provided by the representative office, the ceremony was attended by figures such as the head of the Osh region Amanakan Kenjebayev and the mayor of the city Janar Akayev.
“On this significant day, I urge you all to show patriotism and love for your country. May our flag always proudly wave during holidays, celebrations, and national events. I wish that the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, wherever they may be, hold their heads high and raise our flag in moments of triumph. May it become an eternal symbol of unity for all Kyrgyzstanis!” Kenjebayev noted in his speech.
During the ceremony, military personnel raised the state flag in the central square of the city to the sounds of the anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The state flag was adopted by the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh on March 3, 1992, after two months of discussion. This year marks the 34th anniversary of its approval.
