"Being a medic is the most thankless and undervalued job in our country!"
Medical workers expressed dissatisfaction with their earnings and working conditions
Doctors in Kyrgyzstan shared their opinions on social media, stating that their work is the least recognized and undervalued in the country.
One of the doctors demonstrated her pay slip as proof.
“Here is my salary for a month at the city hospital, where I work on a 6/1 schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. With such a schedule, there is no question of a personal life. Every day we see between 35 to 40 patients, as the flow of sick people does not stop. In the evening, you return home feeling like a squeezed lemon, completely exhausted both morally and physically,” — she wrote.
“Considering the current inflation, how can one live on such a salary for an entire month?” — the doctor questions.

It should be noted that the authorities promised to increase salaries for medical workers and teachers in April 2026.
