The commission will conduct a comprehensive check of the quality of completed road works within 10 days and prepare proposals regarding contracting organizations that may have violated the terms of the contract.
The mayor's office noted that strict measures will be applied to unscrupulous contractors, including the possibility of blacklisting them. In addition, the issue of disciplinary responsibility for employees who may have allowed violations during the monitoring and acceptance of works is being considered, up to and including their dismissal.
The heads of the four districts were instructed to promptly correct the identified shortcomings as soon as weather conditions improve.
“In 2026, the Bishkek mayor's office will refuse to cooperate with those contracting organizations that did not fulfill their obligations properly in 2025,” said the deputy mayor.
The municipality emphasized that the development and improvement of road infrastructure remains one of the main priorities. With the onset of warm weather, it is planned to eliminate all deficiencies and begin the construction and reconstruction of new roads in the capital.
