In the National Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood (NCPMC), a palliative care program has been launched in the pediatric oncology department. This was announced by the head of the department, Sultan Stambekov.

He noted that with the support of the hospital management, two specialized rooms were created to provide assistance to children who need special symptom control and a dignified quality of life.

Thanks to the efforts of sponsors and the charitable foundation "We Believe in Miracles," the rooms were equipped with everything necessary to ensure comfort for both patients and their parents.

"These rooms are not just rooms, but a safe space where children can be without pain and surrounded by family. Palliative care is an important part of modern medicine, which includes symptom control, psychological support, and respect for each patient. It is a manifestation of humanity. We thank everyone who contributed to this step," Sultan Stambekov wrote on his Facebook page.
