Tulips from 75 soms: the spring festival has started in Bishkek
Today, March 2, a tulip festival opens in Bishkek, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
From March 2 to 10, residents of the city will be able to purchase a variety of spring flowers starting at 75 soms. The products are available for both retail and wholesale sales.
The main goal of the festival is to support domestic producers, increase the share of local goods in the market, and provide the population with high-quality and environmentally friendly flowers. The event features different varieties of tulips, allowing producers to communicate directly with consumers.
The festival also contributes to the development of the floral industry, promotes new varieties, and attracts investments. The event includes consultations from specialists and experience exchange in the field of flower cultivation.
The Ministry will continue to support domestic producers and work on diversifying the agricultural sector of the country.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in collaboration with Tulpanland.
