According to Jusupbekova, until recently, comprehensive research had not been conducted in Kyrgyzstan to assess the level of violence and offenses in educational institutions. "In 2025, for the first time, a large-scale national study was conducted, which showed that the highest rates of violence are observed in large cities such as Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the Chuy, Osh, and Batken regions. A map of the prevalence of violence in schools was also created. The main types of violence identified include psychological and physical violence, as well as cyberbullying," she emphasized.
Jusupbekova added that experts are currently continuing to analyze the collected data and develop recommendations to improve the situation in the education sector.
