"We found ourselves left to our own devices, and there is no help from the consulate," — such sad news came to the editorial office of 24.kg from Kyrgyzstani Erkingul Sharshenbekova, who is stranded in the emirate of Ajman due to military actions by Israel and the USA against Iran and the closure of airspace.

Erkingul shared that she, along with her elderly mother and daughter, planned to fly out of Sharjah on February 28, but the flight was canceled.

According to the woman, the airline Air Arabia, from which they purchased tickets, did not provide any information and did not contact the passengers, forcing people to stay at the airport until two in the morning.

“When the consul appeared, he simply said: ‘I cannot help.’ We were given an address and told to pay $25 per person for accommodation. We had to take a taxi there with children in our arms, and the place turned out to be extremely dirty. In the end, we had to look for housing ourselves,” she shares.
She says they continue to live in hotels at their own expense, and no representatives from the authorities or the consulate have inquired about their condition.
“No one has asked how we are living, what we are eating, or if we have money. We have been writing for two days, trying to find out what to do when the money runs out, but we receive no response. The news claims that the embassy is taking care of everyone, but perhaps this only applies to Dubai. In Sharjah and Ajman, we are left alone with our problems,” she adds.

Meanwhile, this morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that there is no panic among citizens in the Middle Eastern countries. The agency claims that the situation is under control and a special headquarters is operating around the clock.

The military actions by Israel and the USA against Iran began on February 28 with a series of air and missile strikes on targets in Iran. In response, Tehran attacked Israel and American bases in the Middle East. American President Donald Trump announced the start of the military operation "Epic Fury."
As a result of the attacks, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and several high-ranking officials from Tehran were killed.

The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate, with missile strikes occurring from both sides. Thousands of people are left without the ability to leave due to the closed airspace in the combat zone.
