The new electric bus route No. 62 will start operating in Bishkek on March 3, as reported by the city administration.
Modern and environmentally friendly electric buses will run from the Alamedin-1 microdistrict to Kirkmostrom.
The route will pass through the streets of B. Alykulov, L. Tolstoy, and Auezov.
The launch of this route is part of a program to optimize the urban transport system, within which changes have already been made to the routes No. 35, No. 45, No. 61, and No. 51.
It is planned that the updates to the routes will occur in stages. These changes aim to reduce traffic congestion in the city center, and in the future, when adjusting the routes of most lines, alternative streets will be utilized.
