Opinion of "Bishkekvodokanal"
In its comment on the situation, the municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" stated that the pipeline damage occurred during the construction of an additional building for secondary school No. 72.The agency explained that the ground collapse during excavation work led to the damage of a 250 mm diameter pipeline and the formation of a water leak.
After receiving information about the incident, an emergency team was dispatched to the site, where they conducted an inspection and took the necessary measures to address the situation.
“To prevent further leakage, the pipeline was sealed off on both sides. This line should be removed by the company 'Goha Group', as it falls within the construction zone,” the "Bishkekvodokanal" added.
The agency assured that the supply of drinking water continues as usual, as the network is looped.
