On February 28, 1961, a cold record was set in Bishkek when the temperature dropped to −26 degrees. This data is provided by the resource "Weather and Climate".
This day is remembered as the coldest in the entire history of observations.
On the other end of the temperature spectrum is the year 1984, when the thermometer rose to +18.4 degrees, thus setting a heat record.
