The introduction to the plant was organized by Deputy Mayor Ramiz Aliyev, who demonstrated modern waste processing technologies and electricity production to the participants.
The delegation studied the operation of the enterprise, learned about the technological process of waste recycling, as well as the ecological safety system and innovations used in production. Participants were presented with data on the plant's design capacity, waste disposal methods, and the volumes of electricity generated as a result of processing solid household waste.
The opening of this plant, the first in Central Asia, has become a significant step in addressing waste management issues and improving the environmental situation in Bishkek.

Investments in the project amounted to $95 million. It is expected to process up to 365 thousand tons of waste per year and launch a condensing turbine generator power plant with a capacity of 30 megawatts.
Currently, the plant is capable of processing up to 1,000 tons of waste per day, with plans for gradual capacity increases in the future.
